I was born and raised in Hawaii, a small business owner who was interested in computerizing my business back in 1977, started programming on a diskette based business computer system.
I enjoyed programming so much that I moved to the Bay Area in 1981 and began building small business application with Databus a propriety compiled languages for several Bay Area companies, including Safeway Stores and Bank of America.
Later learned C and spent many years building small business networked applications using Novell networks to tie together PC workstations. Did several years of consulting, doing corporate financial programming with several Bay Area corporations including Federal Home Loan Bank and worked on several Euro dollar conversions and Y2K compliance reprogramming.
In 1998, I retired from corporate work and soon realized that I missed the joys of problem solving, so I turned to web programming and now found a way to use my many years of experience to keep my mind sharp and serve others.
